What will they remember? Laughing; working along side me; telling stories; the way I treat their mother, their wives, and their children.

Thanks, I like that. I know it was true in my childhood. I hope and pray that my kids will have plenty of those memories as well.

Thanks for stopping by. It can be quite challenging to keep our family first as dads. Glad to hear you are doing well at it. Good luck on your book as well.

Here it is...

"What will you children remember?

Moments spent listening, talking, playing and sharing together may be the most important times of all".

Hi there,

All too familiar story!

I too use my time with the children very wisely. Unfortunately, I am a single Dad (split from their mother) so only see them for a ridiculously short period of time. However, in that time we do nothing else except have fun, bake, walk, play, paint...you get the message.

They have inspired me to write a book, which is with publishers at the moment. The book is a guide to bringing up happy, contented, rounded children & not looking back in 30 years and regretting being a bad parent. So, watch this space.

I have a lovely quote which opens the book but I can't remember it fully, but starts with..."What will you children...moments of laughter...?

keep the faith.

regards

Joe
