If you have found yourself here via CPF then allow me to give you a warm welcome! I appreciate you taking the time to stop by and say hi. There were many reasons I started to blog. Several are explained on the About page. One of my primary reasons was the inspiration I received by reading Bob Lotich’s blog, Christian Personal Finance. Today, Bob has encouraged me again by posting an article I wrote on how to teach our kids to be good stewards of their money.
Parenting has many aspects. One of these is teaching. Regardless of if our children are in home school, private school or public school, as parents, we are still the most influential teachers in their lives. It is important to remember this and make use of it. For example, if we want our kids to grow up to be respectful then we need to teach them to be respectful (and model it). This is also true when it comes to money. They will not simply wake up one day after starting their first job and know how to handle money wisely. No, we have the privilege of teaching them. My guest article at ChristianPF.com provides several practical ways to teach kids how to handle money wisely and what it means to be a good steward. If you haven’t seen it yet, stop by and check it out.
Once again, I would like to say thank you to Bob. Money is something we all have the joy to deal with and often stress about. If you are looking for some Godly advice in the area of personal finance, I highly recommend you stop by Christian Personal Finance. It has been a favorite of mine for years. I am sure you will enjoy it as well. Again, those of you that have arrived here by way of Bob’s blog, welcome to RandomActsOfParenting!! I hope you enjoy your stay.
